ok so we all basically know that JIS is engaged to PYJ although they don't love eah other. It's a family business thing. JIS is a nalradi and PYJ has been in love with this guys she knew from college SJS. SJS and PYJ had broken up because of her engagemen to JIS, and SJS is depressed and heartbroken about it. PYJ is sticking to this engagement because of family obligations and the whole money thing because SJS is a poor salaryman and his single mother is always have money problems because of the men that she attaches herself to. Anyway so yeah JIS is filthy rich.

PYJ because she misses SJS so much decides to take one last trip with him to Bali, but JIS, suspecting follows, and ruin things. HJW is a tour guide in Bali and ends up being their tour guide. The atmosphere is all weird because JIS knows about what's going on between the two, SJS hates JIS because he's engaged to PYJ plus he's rich. HJW is just this really bright/ clueless girl. Everyone returns back to Seoul, HJW including because her money gets ripped off by the tour agency owner Mr. Jang I think. She has no money and has to live at her friends house. He brother is a waiter at a bar and is always gettting into financial troubles. He's in debt to the bar owner so he sells HJW as a bar girl (terribl yea?)

SJS ends up working in JIS company because he's recruited by JIS brother, who's out to get him. SJS is even in the same group/department as JIS. PYJ, miserable about her love for SJS breaks off the engagement. She tries to go to SJS but he's feeling really complicated. He loves PYJ, but (this is where all the emotions are complicated and open to interpretation) he feels like sh*t because he's poor and she says she can't marry him because of that. Also because in his words, "She doesn't really love him, she just wants to own him" because she's all fascinated with him or something like that. So he turns PYJ away and tries to forget her. He even rips up and throws away the pictures they had together. Anyway, HJW has been working as a bar girl although she absolutely hates it. In desperation she goes to JIS many times for help, although they barely know each other, only from Bali. He helps her out by loaning her money and getting her a job at his company. JIS also finds out that SJS and HJW are living next door to each other and misunderstandings arise. It's pretty clear that HJW has some interest in the mysterious SJS and she only goes to JIS because she needs help/money. I think JIS kind of sees that too and gets mad. Anyway, it seems like JIS is developing feelings toward HJW. However, in my opinion HJW is beginning to like SJS. SJS is trying to clear his feelings for PYJ and it seems liek he a little bit using HJW to get back at JIS and HJW. He also teamed up with JIS's brother to take down JIS in the company. I really really like HJW and I adore JIS's character (childlike, cute, with random bursts of affection and gets jealous easily) and I also understand SJS's character, whose really mysterious and moody.

in ep. 8:
the morning after, jo in sung asks ha ji won if she sleeps so easily everywhere since she konked out at his office. then she asks him what he meant the other day when he accused her of telling ppl about what he did for her. (park ye jin told jo in sung that ha ji won told her about him lending ha ji won money and stuff, but park ye jin lied cuz ha ji won never said that to her. she just did her research and put the 2 + 2 together). then at the end jo in sung asks her 'are we consicident too?'..

and at the end of ep. 8, when so ji sup gets back to his apt. he finds ha ji won there. then when she leaves saying she was just there to return his coat and deliver his mom's food.. he grabs her and says something like 'you know that i like you don't you?'.. then he says something like 'because i like you i don't want to see you suffer'.. and then he puts his hand on her face and she's like all emotional and then they have that really slight kiss (more like a peck on the lips).. then he kisses her more passionately (a lot of lip nibbling). just as jo in sung is on his way to see her. =D

i think jo in sung's starting to like ha ji won too.
in ep. 7, when PYJ arranged that lunch meeting for the four of them. she synically says HJW and SJS make a good couple. then HJW says PYJ and JIS make a good couple too. when she said that JIS stared at HJW. before that he pretty much just ate and ignored what PYJ was saying.

oh wait. sorry memory regroup but i don't think JIS said 'are we concidence too' (woo yun). i think he said 'are we predestined (woong myung) too'. i was half watching half working so didn't pay 100% attention but i thought about it and i'm pretty sure he said 'predestined' not 'concidence' since HJW said it was strange that her and SJS met in bali, then got on the same flight to seoul seated right next to each other and in seoul they ended up being neighbors again.. how that was like predestiny.

another important dialogue somewhere between ep. 4-7 is when PYJ goes to see SJS to tell him that she wants him to be her lover... she force kisses him and then tells him she loves him sincerely, but he says, 'you dont love me you just want to possess me'.

and in ep. 7, HJW tells SJS that she did think of getting ahead in life by being with JIS since he's rich but not anymore. (after she eats dinner at SJS's house).

[ep. 9:]
the day after SJS and HJW kiss.
morning when he sees her:
SJS: about last night. i had too much to drink.
HJW: .... (hurt)


[beginning of ep. 10:]

HJW (to SJS): i know my place in life so you don't need to worry.

SJS calls JIS to talk. they meet at the bar.
SJS: how much money do you waste a month? about 10 million won on alchohol?
JIS: you called to meet this late just to see how much i spend on drinks?
SJS: this girl i know worked her butt off to save a 10 million won and was so proud of her accomplishements..
JIS: so?
SJS: i know your type gives out pity freely and turns around to make a fool out of people, but don't give her your cheap help if you're just gonna hurt her (something like that).
JIS: as if you're the one to talk. since you can't get young-joo now you're leaching of my brother? thx for the warning. since we're on advice giving let me warn you not to trust my brother so much.

[half way into ep. 10:]
HJW meets SJS at the neighborhood store. they walk back together.

SJS: did i upset you so much?
HJW: ....
SJS: when i said i liked you, i was sincere.
HJW: (speechless still.. tears)
SJS: do you have any plans this weekend?
HJW: (smile) not yet...
SJS: then don't make any plans for the weekend.

after they get back they discover a drunk and passed out JIS w/ cell phone to his ear.
(he was trying to call HJW all night but since she didn't have a phone he kept talking to the voice message of hjw's friend's phone)

ep. 12
basically PYJ hires HJW to work at the gallery JIS's mom manages.
HJW declines at first but for some reason she accepts. i guess she really needs the money. she even got a 200 dollar raise but basically she cleans the gallery and makes coffee, answers the phone.

JIS sees HJW there and gets all pissed (he has so many tandrums) so he throws money at her saying it's for her living expenses and since he has friends who have companies he'll find her a new job so stop showing up at the gallery.

then JIS tells PYJ he's not gonna marry her. but PYJ tells him she's starting to like him and she will marry him.

JIS tries to get his acts together to do a presentation at work. he uses material that SJS put together since SJS was gonna do the presentation but JIS says he's the team lead so he will do it. his dad gets impressed.

JIS goes to see HJW and asks her to feed him. SJS arrives and HJW looks at SJS then invites JIS in. then she gets all distracted thinking about SJS and tells JIS they should eat out instead. so JIS and HJW eat out and she buys. then afterwards JIS say he'll buy the snack and they go to a tent bar. he chucks down 3 bottles of sojoo and passes out. before he passes out he asks her a mutliple question:

JIS: why do you think i keep coming to see you?
1. because i'm bored
2. for no reason
3. because i'm trying to tick off inwook (SJS)
4. because i like lee soo jung (HJW)

but before she can say anything he's out. so she calls SJS and he drives them back to JIS's. then when they get there JIS asks HJW to get him water. SJS yells at him to get it by himself. JIS, realizing SJS is there asks why he's there. then SJS tells HJW to leave. but JIS starts yelling asking begging HJW to stay.

SJS grabs HJW'S hand and leaves. JIS tries to stop them but SJS pushes him and he trips over his couch. SJS leaves. then HJW leaves. JIS screams don't leave.

so when SJS and HJW get back, HJW asks SJS if he's mad at her since he acts like he's mad at her all the time now. SJS says he's not mad at her so don't worry.

SJS: i dont' know why.. when i see you with jung jae min (JIS) i just can't take it...
HJW: ...
SJS: when i look at you i see myself and i'm angry at myself.. so don't worry and good night.

SJS gets promoted at work. JIS gets pissed. SJS calls HJW to have dinner to celebrate. he says he'll call her at 7pm when she gets off work. PYJ catches her talking on the phone and asks HJW for her number. PYJ realizes her number is almost the same as JIS'S (since JIS got them 'couple numbers') and gets pissed asking if JIS got HJW the phone. then she asks if it was JIS on the phone. HJW says no. then PYJ asks if it was SJS and HJW says nothing indicating yes. so PYJ is pissed and leaves but turns around to grab HJW's phone and throws it in the mop water.

Translation of episode 13
EPISODE 13 -

JM [JUNG JEA MIN] is sittting at his desk and his secretary comes in and tells him he made an arrangement with JO SANG BEA at a restaurant and that his brother his calling him and then he leaves. On the way to his brothers office he calls SJ [LEE SOO JUNG] but she doesn't answer the phone and he meets IO [KANG IN OOK] at the elevator.

At his brothers office theres his brother and YJ [YOUNG JOO] both sitting on the couch, the brother wants to celebrate YJs promotion and wants to do something but JM and IO both say no at the same time. So JM goes back to his own office and on the way he calls SJ agen but she won't answer the phone, he also calls the gallerys office and his mom answers. He says random things and then just hangs up. IO also calls her cell phone but the same thing happens to him, she won't pick up.

While SJ was cleaning up the gallery the phone rings and she answers it and its JM and he says he'll be there and then hangs up. As JM was going to take SJ out of the gallery they meet his mom. His mom gets really mad and tries to hit her but JM blocks her way and she gets embarresed in front of SJ. After that he takes SJ out of the gallery and they both get in this car and leaves the gallery. JM cancels his meeting with JO SANG BEA at the restaurant and takes SJ to some place.

IO wants to talk with SJ and he wants to call the gallery but he thought of something so instead he called JM. IO asks where SJ is and JM says that hes with SJ, IO just hangs up. JM says this to her ` I'll do anything you tell me to do. Just stay beside me. I'll wait for your answer, but don't make me wait long.` and he lets her out of his car.

SJ at her house looks inside the mirror and looks at her face with confused eyes. JMs mom was so mad and upset that she goes to SJs house and starts to yell at SJ. After JMs mom left SJ cries in IOs arms and she tells him everything, IO doesn't say anything but gently tap her back ....


ep. 13:

HJW can't receive SJS's phone call because her phone got thrown into the mop water by PYJ.. so HJW tries to call SJS with the gallery phone, but just as she's about to dial JIS's mom comes back to the gallery after leaving cuz she forgot her phone.. so HJW didn't get to call SJS. then.. JIS comes looking for HJW. JIS's mom sees him and gets irate..

mom: is this why you called earlier?
JIS: mom.. please..
JIS: (yelling).. if i don't see her for a day i feel like i'm going crazy so just let me be. please.
mom: (yelling) for this trash (ok something like that)

JIS drags HJW out and pushes her into the car. he drives her home but he gets a call from SJS asking if HJW is with him. SJS asks to speak to HJW on JIS's phone:

SJS: if you can't make it shouldn't you at least call?
HJW: that... my phone suddenly broke.. and.
SJS: (hangs up)

so then HJW is worried about SJS and tries to rush home but JIS asks her to stay with him.. if she will be by his side he will do everything she wants for her... he asks her to think about the idea.

then that night JIS's mom arrives at HJW and slaps her and calls her trash.
SJS hears it and coms out to look.

[next morning]
SJS is standing outside waiting for HJW.

HJW: what are you doing here and not going to work?
SJS: do you really must work at the gallery? are you working there because you have no self pride or do you really not care?

HJW: then should i quit? quit and do what? look for a job durng the day and sing at the karaoke bar at night? what kinda job would i get? tour guide? hostess? jobs that depend on tips you earn with your smile? have you worked at a place like that? and how much would i get? would i be able to get 100 thousand won? (it's around 800 bucks). at the gallery i'm offered 100 thousand won. and the job is very comfortable. answer the phone, clean, go on bank errands.. i'm not even on my foot like i was with the announcer job.. and i even have time to study and read books.

SJS: (something like) so you can be ridiculed?

HJW: so i can be called trash? trash.. human waste.. cheap girl.. i've been hearing those names since i was 10.. since i lived in the orphanage.. since i lived from relative to relative.. those terms mean nothing to mean (tears flowing).

SJS: that's why you gotta stop living like that now.

HJW: why? so i won't embarass you infront of choi young joo (PYJ)?

so then HJW turns to leave. JIS arrives. he tells her to get in and she does. their car passes SJS and HJW gets teary looking at SJS in the rear view mirror.

JIS takes her to the decked out studio. he tells her to move in and think about his proposition.

SJS calls PYJ and meets with her. he tells PYJ he never loved her and he was only after her background so stop bothering HJW.

later that day, HJW picks up her newly fixed cell phone, gets a call from JIS who tells her to meet him at her new home. she goes back to the old home. her brother is waiting for her and he wants money again.. she thinks about what her life would be like if she was rich. she takes him out to eat bbq and afterwards she decides to pack her stuff to move to the new apt. her roommate arrives and asks her what she's doing. HJW says she must grab onto this opportunity.. if not she will never be able to leave and tells her roommate not to stop her.. outside SJS arrives and he grabs her wrist asking her what she's doing but she drops his hand and leaves w/ her luggage.


episode 14

soo jung spent her first night at her new home drunk, so the next morning she cant remember anything, and meanwhile jae min is cooking in the kitchen. He is cooking for her since she passed out the night before, but his cooking taste horrible. He then asks her if she went to go meet eeh nook (sjs) and she calmly tells him that she did. She then asks him why he likes her and he tells her that he never met someone who is as honest, has no pride, land likes money as much as her. He also says that just like he cannot marry her, he doesnt expect her to give him her heart, and that he just likes her. At work, Il min is waiting for a foreighner and he runs into Ii nook (sjs) and jae min and Ii nook has arrived to work at the same time. Jae min sees Il min and the foreigner happily greeting each other and it gets jae min thinking. Jae min then tells his secretary to find out what Ii nook has been up to lately. As for Soo jung, Jae min had told her to quit working at the gallery and then she sees Young joo. Young joo finds the change in Soon jungs attitude to be distasteful and percieves her to be two faced, but she holds back her temper and sits down. Soo jung tells her that she will only work for this month and then she is going to quit. Then, Young joo asks her if she moved but Soo jung is flustered and doesnt answer.

Jo In Sung actually doesn't buy the house for her.
It's a house that he purchased long time ago for the girls that he's been with.
Like his flavors of the months.

Anyways, Ha Ji Won thinks about his offer (of staying at the house, being with him and him giving her everything she wants) and she decides to take the offer.
She packs her two bags and walks out of her friend Mi Hee's house, and tells Mi Hee that she'll call and to not stop her because if she doesn't leave now, she will never be able to.

So Ji Sup comes and grabs her wrist when she's about to leave and asks, "Wae Ee Lae? (Why are you doing this?)" And HJW just says something like, "Thank you for everything you've done, I'll see you later."

She leaves, arrives at the apartment that JIS provides, and finds him sleeping on the couch.

He wakes up and asks her if she has thought up the offer, and she asks him what she will get from him. He says he can give her anything except for marriage.

They agree.

He takes her shopping, blah blah blah.[/color]

episode 14:
so HJW arrives at the decked out studio JIS presented to her.
she finds a sleeping JIS. he wakes up and is happy to see her...

HJW: all i have to do is be next to you?
JIS: yup...
HJW: hm.. and what will you do for me?
JIS: except marrying you.. i'll do everything.

next day JIS arrives early. panics when he doesn't see HJW but then she shows up from the bathroom in a towel. JIS takes her on a shopping spree buying all kinds of expensive outfits and handbags.

HJW brings her friend to see the place and shows her all the new stuff. she tells her she can have anything she likes but the friend tells HJW she's not a beggar and she thinks it's not right that HJW agreed to JIS's proposal. just then JIS shows up and he's upset that HJW invited her friend. after she leaves.. JIS tells HJW not to let anyone but JIS in the apt. HJW is beginning to feel trapped..

PYJ's mom over hears HJW and her friend mentioning the name 'jung jae min' (JIS) at a fancy restaurant where HJW's treating her friend. PYJ's mom realizes JIS has an apt for HJW and gets upset. mom goes home to confront PYJ. PYJ is upset and goes to tell SJS about it.

HJW goes back to her old place to clean up her friend's room and brings a new outfit for her friend. when she leaves she runs into SJS.

SJS: what are you doing here?
HJW: i was just cleaning my friend's room.. now i'm leaving (something like that. can't remember details).
SJS: ..
HJW: i missed you.
SJS: so?
Inwook : Where are you staying now ?
Soojung : One of my acquaintance's house.
Inwook : Acquaintance who ? Is that person who I know?
Soojung : ( surprised, Inwook already knows) ......
Inwook : So... are you happy ?
Soojung : ... Yes.
Inwook : (shocked. and nothing to say) If so... Good bye.
(Inwook try to go into his house)
Soojung : (hesitates but finally she says) I missed you.
Inwook : (Angry) So? what should I do?

HJW runs away crying. SJS then chases after her but he misses her as she gets inside the cab and leaves.

episode 15:

(this isn't a script translation. just what i recall from memory)

HJW wakes up in JIS's apt. JIS is making breakfast following
the food is horrible but HJW keeps eating.
HJW: about yesterday? what happened?
JIS: you didn't show up so i called your phone and the woman at tent bar answered. what kinda woman drinks so much by herself anyways?
HJW: did i sleep here? (wait or did she said 'did you sleep here'.. ?)
JIS: yes
HJW: that friend. she is my one and only dear friend.. so if you dont let me see her at the house than i have to go see her.
JIS: meet her. who said you can't. but must you meet her at the house?
HJW: ..
JIS: did you see kang in wook too? (SJS)
HJW: yes
JIS: what did he say?
HJW: he asked me if i like it after leaving.
JIS: and what did you say?
HJW: i said i like it.
JIS: do you really like it?
HJW: (pause) yes.
JIS: what do you like about it?
HJW: everything.
JIS: (looks up) what are you doing tonight? let's eat together. you decide where and call me.
HJW: ok
JIS: and hire someone to do the cleaning in that house
HJW: smile
JIS: why are you laughing?
HJW: cleaning is my
JIS: (agitated) that's why i told you to quit the work at the gallery. you should act like my woman if you're my woman.
HJW: --
JIS: what i'm saying is.. why go there and be a target
HJW: what do you see in a woman like me?
JIS: you're honest and you have no ego. and to be honest i've never met someone who likes money so much and is not pretentious about it.
HJW: ..
JIS: and why do you have to cheapen yourself? why do you say 'a woman like me'..?
HJW: ..
JIS: you're cheaping me too with that.
JIS: what i'm saying is.. since i can't marry you i don't expect you to give me your heart. just that i like you.
HJW: (pause) i'll quit my job at the gallery
JIS: (excited). great. i mean that's good.

so JIS drives her to work. she tells JIS's mom she's quitting. PYJ acts surprised. then PYJ's mom arrives.
PYJ's mom goes up to HJW, slaps her, yells at her, then bangs HJW"s head against the desk. (aigoo violent).
PYJ's mom leaves. JIS's mom follows her out. PYJ asks HJW where she moved to. HJW says it's none of her business.
HJW gets out her cell phone and calls JIS in front of PYJ to tell JIS she will cook tonight so just come home.
PYJ gets pissed off and goes up to her to slap HJW. HJW slaps her back. then HJW says she can work til they find someone new but she's leaving for the day.

HJW gets back home and starts cooking. she makes soybean paste stew which reminds her the time she made the same stew for SJS and other times she spent w/ SJS.
JIS tells HJW he'll be there soon so wait for him to eat. but then he gets held up by family event and has to go eat w/ his family.
SJS gets invited to JIS's family dinner by JIS's brother. PYJ is there too. JIS's mom meets SJS and remembers him as the guy who lives next to HJW and the one who kissed PYJ in the car.

HJW waits and waits but JIS hasn't returned so she starts eating by herself. finally JIS arrives. HJW gets angry and starts to leave. JIS gets pissed and drags her to the bed.
HJW asks him if he feels cheated and if so do whatever he wants. JIS can't do anything toward her and lets her go. HJW packs her stuff and leaves.
HJW gets back to her old place. her friend isn't home and HJW left her keys at the new apt. SJS comes outside and sees her. they go inside his place.

SJS: are you coming back for good? it was just a few days ago you left..
HJW: ...

SJS steps out. HJW starts crying. when SJS gets back she's passed out on the floor. SJS picks her up and tucks her in bed and caresses her face then gets back to work.
at work, SJS asks JIS to speak in private. then SJS punches JIS and tells him if he plays with HJW one more time then he's gonna kill him.

episode 16:
SJS punchs JIS and warns him to never again play with HJW again.
HJW is ill with a cold. her friend gets medicine and cooks porridge for her.
half-crying, PYJ explains her relationship with SJS to JIS's mom saying SJS has been blackmailing her.

JIS goes around the new apt and misses HJW. he finds her cell phone and bring it to her.
SJS returns home and goes to see HJW, finding her burning a strong fever. SJS begins to wipe her with cold water to keep her cool.
JIS arrives at HJW's. SJS comes out and JIS is surprised and angry, asking SJS why he's there.
SJS reminds JIS about his earlier warning.

JIS: listen carefully. lee soo jung (HJW) is my woman. so get out of my way.
JIS punches SJS. SJS punches him back. then SJS tells JIS to leave the pitiful girl alone (HJW steps out and hears the last part).
JIS apologizes to HJW and gives her the phone saying he'll call her.
after JIS leaves. HJW thanks SJS for protecting the pitiful girl.

PYJ's mom goes to see JIS and advices him to clean up his behavior.
HJW goes to work at the gallery again but there's a new hire already and PYJ asks her what she wants. HJW comments how they found a replacement so soon.
PYJ replies that kind of job is easily replaced. then asks HJW whether she moved out. HJW again says its none of her business and leaves.

HJW calls JIS to meet for dinner. first she goes to the apt to get dressed up for dinner.
JIS finds a glamourous HJW and is pleasantly surprised. the two start drinking at the restaurant.

(getting drunk...)
HJW: enough about me. can u get a job for my brother? soon he's gonna turn 30.. and he should get married.. but he's hopeless. he's kang in-wook's age (SJS) but they're so different. he's tending a pool table shop right now.
JIS: what are you counting on making these requests from me? from day one asking for money then favors.. isn't it enough i got a job for jo songbaek (HJW's ex-boss from bali who swindled her money).
HJW: i never asked you to give him a job.
JIS: still. you think you're beautiful, right? like really beautiful, right? but you still shouldn't treat me like this.
HJW: you don't like it? then forget it.
(this dialogue sounds serious. but actually when they talk they're half drunk half teasing)

(drunker...)
JIS: if i hadn't gone to bali then i wouldn't have met lee soo jung (HJW) or kang in wook (SJS).. the start of my misery.
HJW: that's right. but i really liked the days at bali.
JIS: why?
HJW: at least i had dreams there.
JIS: what dream?
HJW: like being at a small house near the beach.
JIS: is that right? you can still make that dream come true.
HJW: now?

JIS gets out his cell phone and calls someone to ask about small hotels near bali beach.
the restuarant is closing so HJW and JIS go back to the new apt. to drink more.
meanwhile, SJS keeps thinking of HJW and calls her. she picks up with JIS nearby.

HJW: why does the well-born kang in-wook call me for? (i think she's angry at home for referring to her as 'pitiful')
SJS: where are you at?
HJW: here? i'm at the place where i can come and go whenever i want.
SJS: hurry and come back.

JIS grabs the phone and tells SJS to stop calling. then throws the phone on the floor.
HJW drinks another glass of wine and gets up to leave.

JIS: (still sitting, grabs HJW who is standing) dont' leave.
JIS: lee soo jung. i want to have you. all of you.
HJW: ...
JIS: i want to make you happy and make you smile. that's what i think of all day. but i know reality is not so. because of me you were sadden, you were kicked out, and you cried..
HJW: i'm sorry.
JIS: for what?
HJW: (crying) for everything. at first i didn't think much and i was desparate. but then you gave me lots of money easily.. and gave me a job.. and even found jo songbaek for me.. so i was grateful but i wasn't sorry. then i got greedy.. actually it was easier when you treated me like nothing.
JIS: (stands up, crying).. (touching HJW's tear on her face).
HJW: for not giving you my heart.. it's because of my last pride.
JIS: it doesn't matter to me. (leans to kiss HJW).

SJS finds out where HJW"s apt is from her friend and gets a cab to go there.
half way there he tells the driver to stop and turn around.

(in bed, naked)
JIS plays with HJW's hair and comments how it's great and asks what shampoo she uses. then he asks her if she wants to go skiing this weekend.. or go somewhere else where his family has a vacation home.
HJW says she wants to go home. JIS gets up to drive her home.
at home, SJS thinks about HJW, PYJ, and JIS. then he hears HJW returning with JIS telling her goodnight.

at work, JIS interviews HJW's brother and asks why he was in jail and such. the brother says he was framed. JIS calls his assistant to get a job for the brother in the storage dept. (with jo songbaek).
HJW and JIS talk on the phone and agree to meet near the company. SJS comes in JIS's office and hears JIS talking joyfully on the phone.
HJW and her friend hear some noise next door and they find out SJS is moving.

episode 17:


JIS gets beat up by his dad. his dad warns him if he continues to see HJW she will be next. JIS's mom goes to JIS's apt for HJW and tells the assistant to get rid of everything inside and sell the place.
JIS is forced to go on a golf trip w/ his parents and PYJ. JIS and PYJ is scheduled to be married soon. HJW sees their wedding announcement in paper. PYJ moves into JIS's.

SJS goes on a match making session arranged by his mentor. he meets w/ a teacher who says he's so quiet. HJW works at the pool table shop.

HJW waits outside for JIS to return to his home. JIS arrives and finds her presence surprising.

HJW: long time no see. why haven't you called.
JIS: i've been sorta busy.
HJW: i see.
JIS: (pause, trying to sound distant) sorry but can you leave now?
HJW: (pause then leaves after saying goodbye)

JIS goes inside and weeps alone (is it just me or does he cry funny?).

JIS: you love kang in wook don't you?
PYJ: no
JIS: (shocked) what?
PYJ: i loved him.. no, i thought i loved him but i don't.
JIS: (shocked) how can that be?
PYJ: why? you were hoping that i loved him?
JIS: but you don't love me either
PYJ: stop talking about love. it isn't like you.
JIS: do we really have to get married?
PYJ: ---
JIS: even if we did get married can we be happy?
PYJ: why wouldn't we be?
JIS: since we have other people in heart
PYJ: so you want to ditch marriage so you can be w/ that girl?

JIS gets a call from his dad who wants to confirm his whereabout. JIS passes the phone to PYJ to tell his dad where they are.

PYJ: you're pitiful too.
JIS: that's why you need to help me. i can't do this alone.

HJW thinks about SJS. SJS gets off work and finds himself infront of his old place.. then he tells the driver to leave since he didn't mean to be there. as the cab leaves HJW passes by but they don't see each other.
HJW calls JIS to congratulate him on his engagement and soon to be wedding. she asks if she can see him sometime. JIS begins to weep and says perhaps not. HJW asks him to call her when he has time then. JIS weeps even more but covering the receiver.

SJS drinks w/ the teacher. gets drunk and arrives in front of HJW's door.

SJS: soo jung ah.. soo jung ah.. lee soo jung! i have to tell you something.
HJW comes out.
SJS: it's been a long time.
HJW: yes.
SJS: mi ae sshi (HJW"s roommie) is doing well?
HJW: yes
SJS: and someone moved in next door?
HJW: yes
SJS: i heard you work at the pool shop?
HJW: -- (turns face away)
SJS: i heard it from your brother. i also worked at a pool shop a long time ago.. eating and sleeping there... so i told your brother i would play him a game so next time we'll go there together.
HJW: (crying)
SJS: lee soo jung. our pretty lee soo jung.. i'm sorry.. i told you not to get hurt but i hurt you.. like a jerk i moved and didn't even protect you.. i'm a jerk aren't i? can you forgive me.
HJW: (crying)
SJs: (drawing her close to hug her) don't cry.

HJW brings him inside to make coffee. SJS passes out and sleeps there.

JIS is drunk. his friends bring him back. PYJ is waiting for him in her nightgown. PYJ tries to help him get comfortable but JIS tells her not to touch him.

SJS wakes up in the morning. mi-ae who is enamored by his presence tries to keep him for breakfast. HJW is making breakfast. mi-ae wants to know if they can visit his new place.
SJS with his eyes fixed on HJW asks if the weekend is okay. HJW says she's busy but SJS so it doesn't matter what time so just come after work.

PYJ made breakfast for JIS but he just leaves to work.
SJS gets yelled at by the older jung brother for getting sloppy w/ his work.

at JIS keeps thinking about HJW and thinks of calling her but get a call from PYJ instead. JIS gets up to leave. SJS gets up to leave too.
by the elevator SJS says something like this to JIS:
"from how i saw you treating lee soo jung the other day i thought the bride would switch.... i thought maybe but it's not. (cynically) but i understand you.. you're used to the finer things in life so you can't change now" (something like that can't remember)

SJS leaves first and sees PYJ outside waiting for JIS. PYJ asks if SJS has been well. SJS congrats her for the wedding.

SJS goes to see his mom who shows him the newspaper picture and asks if PYJ is the same girl that bailed him out last time.
SJS tries to ignore his mom then asks..

SJS: mom.. when was your happiest moment? would lots of money bring happiness?
MOM: money is the best isnt' it..
SJS: how much is enough to buy happiness?
MOM: let's see.. a thousand won? nah..
SJS: should i just quit everything?
MOM: you mean you want to quit your job?
SJS: should i get married?
MOM: (surprised) oh.. ya you should (eventually).. but do you have a lady?

JIS suggests to his dad about investing in hotel buying in bali. dad tells him that can wait.
back at JIS's, PYJ ridicules JIS for the bali suggestion.

PYJ: bali? in that case would you feel better? should i buy it for you? stop acting like a fool. and stop acting like you were forced into this situation... that i can't stand. this was your choice.

JIS and SJS goes around the dept. store the jung's own. JIS picks up a pink cell phone like the one who bought for HJW and remembers her.
SJS and HJW's brother play a game of pool with HJW mending the store. SJS and HJW exchanges looks every now and then.

SJS walks HJW home afterwards.

SJS: let's get married.
HJW: (looks at SJS)

episode 18:

SJS asks HJW to marry. HJW walks away. SJS catches up to her to ask why.

HJW: really why are you like this? i already receive enough sympathy from you.. and i'm grateful.. so stop coming here. (walks away again)

SJS goes after her saying it's not sympahty but HJW cuts him off saying girls like her are cheap and don't think twice after getting played and dumped by ppl like jung jae min. (walks away again)

SJS: (yelling) lee soo jung.. i know why you're like this.
HJW: if you know then please leave.
SJS: you don't have to answer me right away.
HJW: i think you're misunderstanding something. i don't have any feelings toward you. so please leave.

SJS stand speechless. HJW goes inside and weeps alone.

JIS asks his assistant to prepare some cash.. 1 uhk won (84k usd).
JIS's mom and PYJ's mom get in a confrontation. PYJ's mom brings a maid to the newlywed's apt to replace the maid hired by PYJ's mom.

HJW"s roommie asks HJW if she's seen JIS since and if she really won't go see SJS. then her friend gets a call from JIS. HJW goes to meet JIS at a cafe.

HJW: have u been well.
JIS: (nods) how have you been?
HJW: i've been well.
JIS: ---
HJW: and is the mrs. well too?
JIS: --- why did you call me last time?
HJW: i called to see how you were and to congratulate you on getting married.
JIS: (hands HJW an evenlope of money).. if it's not enough then let me know.
HJW: you misunderstand. i really just wanted to see your face that's why i called. what we shared was considered destiny too..
JIS: (interrupts her.. gets agitated.. forces money toward her)
HJW: (throws the envelope at JIS's face) i like money but i really wanted to do this to you once. use that money and buy your wife some shoes.(gets up and leaves)
JIS: (catches up to her outside the cafe) (yelling) don't you know this is all i can do for you. what do you want me to do? you want me to die? should i die?
HJW: you figure out what to do w/ it.
JIS: (shoves the envelop into her pocket and leaves) you figure it out.

----

PYJ arrives home finding JIS drunk w/ his party friend. PYJ tells the friends to leave. JIS tells everyone that's his wife and starts throwing a drunk scene.
PYJ leaves and arrives at SJS's drunk. SJS asks her to leave saying this isn't a place for her to come.
PYJ: i lost you and now everything's a mess.. because of my greed.. i'm sorry...

HJW calls JIS to return the money. JIS tells her to come to his place saying no one's there. she asks him to meet him downstairs.
SJS drives PYJ home in her car. in the car,

PYJ: if for once you had accepted me i wouldn't have gone through w/ this marriage.
SJS: even so you wouldn't have married me.
PYJ: that's probably true.
..
PYJ: thank you and you should go.
SJS realizes he still has her key and goes after her.

in front of the apt door, PYJ sees HJW. then SJS arrives w/ the key and sees HJW. HJW is shocked to see both.

JIS comes down and grabs HJW's wrist: i told you to come up..
HJW: no it's alright.
JIS sees PYJ and SJS too.

SJS walks up to HJW: (angry voice) is this why you can't marry me?
HJW: it's not like that.i have something to return to him...

SJS turns arond and starts beating JIS. HJW goes up to PYJ w/ the envelope. PYJ takes it and slaps HJW. SJS turns around to look at HJW, then leaves.

----

HJW's friend scolds HJw for returning the money and letting go of an opportunity for both her and HJW.
next morning, PYJ's mom goes to see HJW. HJW comes out to throw out trash. PYJ's mom starts to pull HJW's hair. HJW throws trash at her.
PYJ's mom starts screaming (she's such a freaky b***h)
HJW: it's trash. clean up and leave.

----

JIS's brother brings another guy to the meeting w/ foreign clients. the clients are angry that SJS is not there and demands SJS to be there or else there's no business. the brother is pissed.
JIS's dad goes to JIS's office. dad mentions the money and asks if the hotel was meant for HJW too. dad tells JIS to clean up his act and face his responsiblity and warns him to watch out for his brother who's scheming w/ SJS.
JIS: father. i love that woman.
JIS: (kneels down) do whatever you want w/ me. but i can't live w/ young joo.
JIS: (dad agitated) it's not that woman's fault. it's me. and it's not young joo's fault. she's suffering because of me too.
dad: (gets up to leave) i won't let her off easily.
JIS: (grabs dad's legs and cries) no father. i wasn't thinking. so just don't give her any trouble.

dad storms out. SJS and the other staff hear everything from outside. SJS sees JIS on the floor. then remembers HJW.

----

SJS goes to see HJW at the pool shop. SJS gets chinese food delievered.

SJS: i wanted to get something fancier.
HJW: jjang jang myun (black bean noodle) is my favorite.
SJS: i'm sorry i misunderstood you.
they eat and afterwards SJS teaches HJW how to play pool.
SJS walks her to the bus stop. after she gets on he sneaks on to surprise her.

----

HJW tells her roommie that SJS wants to marry her. roommie says SJS is crazy for proposing to a girl who moved out to live w/ another guy before his eyes.
roommie advices her it's better to marry someone who doesn't know about JIS and SJS may be reacting to PYJ marrying JIS instead of sincerely wanting to marry HJW.

JIS asks HJW's brother about what HJW's been doing lately. SJS comes in JIS's office to drop something off. the brother asks SJS when they're gonna play their game: didn't you go yesterday too?
SJS leaves. JIS asks the brother to clarify. brother says SJS and HJW have been spending a lot of time together lately.
JIS calls HJW but gets voice mail only. JIS storms out of his office. JIS's brother comes and tells SJS to be involved in the 'bermuda project' again.

SJS calls HJW at the pool shop and tells her he'll come by to have dinner w/ her.
JIS arrives at the pool shop.

JIS: why aren't u answering the phone? are you dating kang in wook?
HJW: why does it concern you?
JIS: why did you act bratty and return the money to make it difficult for me? now my dad my mom and youngjoo's mom all know about it too. w/ that kinda money you wouldn't have to work at a place like that.
HJW: if you're not here for pool then can u leave?
JIS: i'll play. give me a game.

JIS starts to play pool by himself. SJS arrives and pretends JIS is not there. HJW's relief clerk arrives and HJW leaves w/ SJS. SJS turns around to look at JIS before he steps out.

SJS and HJW drink by the tent bar.

SJS: do you still have lingering feelings toward jung jae min?
HJW: he's married you know.
SJS: that means you do.
HJW: you don't have any lingering feelings toward choi young joo?
SJS: (smiles) no such thing.
HJW: then why do you keep meeting her? you still like her don't you? did you propose to me because of her?
SJS: (smiles) did you think that was why i proposed?
HJW: that's the only way i could think. no matter who looks at the situation that's the only reason why you would propose to someone like me.
SJS: someone like you? what does that mean?
HJW: just like i said. a girl like me.
SJS: someone poor.. and pitiful..?
HJW: on top of that.. someone w/ no real job and someone who tries to use a rich guy to make life better.. a girl w/ badluck.
SJS: so the kind of girl who doesn't even know how beautiful she is?

(something like that. their conversation is kinda hard to say in english)

SJS and HJW are drinking and chatting at the tent bar. SJS asks HJW how she ended up in bali.
HJW says her brother got in trouble and she lost her rent deposit and saw an ad in the paper that promised paradise.

SJS: wow you were brave
HJW: (laugh) but as it turns out even in paradise you need money for it to be paradise.. you saw where i lived right?
SJS: ah. (smile)
HJW: still... i want to go back there some day...and see friends..
SJS: should we go there?
HJW: why?
SJS: i was thinking of quitting. i don't want to see jung jae min again.
HJW: (breaks out in tears) i'm really sorry.. i really can't forgive myself.. so i can't marry you (weep).. even if i must die.

SJS carries HJW back on his back. on the way a car flies by. SJS looks up.
JIS yells out HJW's name as he bangs on the door. the guy next door comes out to tell him she's not home and to be quiet.
SJS arrives w/ HJW on his back. the two guys see each other, but SJS just passes him by and carries HJW into her room.
SJS tucks HJW in bed and goes out to face JIS, asks him why he's here.

JIS: do you plan to marry lee soo jung or something?
SJS: if you're married go back to your wife.
JIS: you need to understand something. lee soo jung is my woman. lee soo jung was a woman i kept around.. doesn't that humiliate you?
SJS: do you want to die tonight?
JIS: go ahead. kill me.

next morning HJW's roommate tells her SJS took her home and JIS was there too last night,
and SJS must be a saint to be so patient with her. HJW calls SJS who is in the elevator w/ JIS there.
SJS answers and tells her nothing happened and asks if she slept well.

PYJ and JIS have lunch w/ their mom's. JIS's mom asks PYJ if there is any news of baby yet.
PYJ's mom says young ppl don't have kids that soon these days cuz they want to enjoy their married life.
JIS says he's busy and leaves. JIS goes to play pool at HJW's store. HJW orders noodle for herself and JIS asks for one too.
JIS leaves to pay for his game and food.

JIS: was marriage what you wanted? you should have said something to me. but you can't marry kang in wook. i won't allow it.

HJW's brother brings jo song-bae to HJW's. JSB cries and apologizes for taking her money and making her life miserable.
HJW leaves and thinks about JIS's words outside.

PYJ gets home drunk and tells JIS stop embarassing her. JIS tells her not to touch him and he won't touch her.
PYJ tells JIS she only married him because she was pissed that he wanted HJW instead of her..
then PYJ says she never met someone as smart and cool as SJS and she liked him so much because he has a mind unlike JIS.
JIS gets up and leaves. PYJ asks him where he's going and (crying) asks him if he's going to HJW again.

at night, SJS calls HJW.

SJS: what are you doing?
HJW: i'm asleep (her roommate is asleep)
SJS: i called too late.
HJW: ... why did you call?
SJS: no reason. i just wanted to hear your voice.
HJW: (smiles)
SJS: it was good when we were neighbors. should i move back?
HJW: (smile)

SJS tells HJW he's gonna go see her so stay put.
HJW waits for SJS outside her room. SJS arrives..

HJW: (shivering) why did you come so late (slight smile).
SJS: yea.. i was regretting as i was coming.. but since you were waiting i couldnt' not come
HJW: who said i was waiting
SJS: but you're waiting
HJW: well that's because you said you were coming.. so..
SJS: (smile) so i'll leave now.
HJW: wait. who said anything about leaving so soon
SJS: it's okay. since i saw your face it's enough. i'll leave now. (smile)
HJW: -- um.
SJS: (turns around eagerly) do you have something to say to me?
HJW: i was gonna say leave well (farewell).
SJS: oh (leaves).

then SJS suddenly turns around and runs to HJW to kiss her. SJS finally leaves.
HJW wipes her cheek with a smile and goes inside to smile under blanket... then worries again.

meanwhile JIS is drunk, throws a temper at the bar and arrives at the staircase to HJW's building and cries.

SJS continues to work on business w/ the foreign clients. things are going well. JIS keeps an eye on what SJS and the brother are scheming.

SJS calls HJW and he brings her to his mom's noodle shop. HJW is reluctant to go in but SJS drags her in.
SJS's mom is unhappy to see HJW but serves them soup noodle. mom asks HJW how her boyfriend is doing (referring to JIS).
SJS interrupts saying him and HJW are getting married. HJW denies but mom gets upset and leaves.
HJW tells SJS why he's making things difficult for her and she's not gonna marry him. he asks her if she really won't marry him and she says yes. (he sounds kinda teasing).
outside SJS tells his mom HJW won't marry him so she doesn't need to worry.

SJS asks HJW to have tea at his apt. HJW says it's okay but SJS grabs her wrist and says 'let's go'.
they go there, and HJW sees pictures of bali on the way and smiles. SJS comments he put them up since she likes bali.
but PYJ rings the doorbell and walks in as soon as SJS opens the door.
PYJ hugs SJS and tells him she missed him. SJS throws away her arms and tells her to leave.

PYJ says she'll leave after one drink and goes inside more. she sees HJW and gets pissed.
PYJ refused to leave and helps herself w/ a drink. then asks HJW if she's onto SJS since she couldn't get JIS.
then PYJ calls JIS and tells him to come take her home since she's too drunk and SJS is too occupied.
SJS tells PYJ to stay and do whatever she wants, and grabs HJW to leave. but HJW won't leave.
HJW tells PYJ if she needs cab fare or if she wants her to take her home. PYJ is pissed and so is HJW.

PYJ: what?
HJW: why you can get help from men but you can't get help from women, is that what you mean? (PYJ said the exact words to HJW before when she offered HJW the job)
PYJ: -- (looks furious)
HJW: (looks at SJS) looks like she won't leave until her husband comes so why don't we have a drink too. (sits down)

JIS arrives and sees HJW. SJs tells JIS to hurry and take PYJ home. JIS goes inside and grabs PYJ to leave.
JIS goes home and is extremely upset at what he saw. PYJ starts drinking again.

next day at work SJS brings papers for JIS to sign and JIS riducules SJS asking if he thinks he's useless.
JIS meets w/ his brother and confronts him about all the money he's stealing from the company and his schemes w/ SJS.
JIS tells his brother he can give him whatever rights he wants if he helps him destroy SJS.

SJS works on his resignation letter. HJW gets home and JIS is waiting for her outside her place, drunk.
JIS asks HJW if she and SJS were an item before she met JIS, and if she loves SJS.

JIS: you love him but solely because of money you went with me, right?
HJW: yes. so leave.
JIS: will you marry me if i divorce?
HJW: -- (upset)
JIS: because i feel like i'm gonna die. i was gonna endure it.. i can accept everything else.. you being mad but i just can't accpet you ignoring me. so please wait. i'm gonna throw everything away so don't go anywhere and just wait.

JIS turns around to leave and sees SJS standing there. JIS comments they meet often. SJS comes up to HJW and asks what happened. HJW said nothing happened.

HJW: do you want to go inside and have a cup of tea?
SJS: no. i'll just leave.
HJW: um.. (sighs as she sees SJS leaving without looking back).

SJS walks behind JIS and watches as JIS walks away.
HJW goes inside, shaken and trembling.

JIS goes home and asks PYJ how long do they have to live like this.
JIS tells PYJ he regrets marrying her and wants a divorce so he can be with HJW.
PYJ asks if SJS is gonna allow it. SJS laughs and says SJS is gonna meet his end soon.

JIS's brother tells JIS he's gonna take care of what they discussed before.
JIS and PYJ are having dinner at JIS's parent's. after dinner, JIS tells his dad he wants to divorce.

JIS: i should've said something before i got married. i'm sorry. it's not because of that girl. she doesn't like me. it's just i can't stand it anymore. i'll do everything.
JIS: (to PYJ) young-joo ah, i'm sorry.

PYJ tells JIS's mom that JIS wants to run away with HJW.

JIS calls HJW on the phone asking where she is. she says at the pool shop. JIS says he's on his way.
HJw closes shop and gathers her stuff to leave before JIS arrives. a couple of men in black come to tell HJW she needs to go with them (i think JIS's dad sent them).
just then SJS arrives and fights off the men, then takes HJW to hide til the guys leave.

JIS arrives after everyone is gone. he notices the reckage and gets worried about HJW. JIS calls HJW's cell but he realizes her purse is still at the shop since the phone rang inside the bag.
SJS takes HJW to his place and tells her to stay there until they figure out who the men were. HJW says it's not a good idea but SJS replies it's the safest place for the time being.
HJW starts to worry. SJS starts to change out of work cloth, and HJW turns around to catch him topless accidently and turns back immediately.

JIS goes to ask his dad what happened to HJW. dad tells the older son to cut JIS's credit cards and orders his wife and son to not give any money to JIS.
JIS goes back to his apt and starts to look through HJW's purse. he gets emotional looking at HJW's picture id and turns her cell phone on to see that speed dial 1 is kang in wook again.
SJS stays up late to finish up work and looks at the sleeping HJW on his bed. HJW wakes up in the morning and smiles realizing SJS slept on the couch and made her breakfast before he left for work.

PYJ's mom goes to see JIS's mom and complains about JIS not calling PYJ when she's not home. JIS's mom tries to calm her down and but she's too upset and JIS's mom shows PYJ's mom pictures of PYJ with SJS.
PYJ's mom gets upset and tells JIS's mom not to threaten PYJ with such lame excuse and leaves.

SJS gives a good presentation at work. the older jung brother is happy afterwords and tells SJS to rest for a week. SJS calls the foreign clients and tells them he's going on vacation next week.
SJS goes home and finds PYJ waiting for him. she wants to go inside to talk but SJS tells her to talk outside so they sit in her car and talk.
PYJ tells SJS JIS wants to leave her for HJW, and suggests that if she divorces, they should marry (PYJ + SJS).
SJS asks PYJ if she still thinks he loves her and tells her he's gotten over her already. PYJ tells SJS JIS mentioned it was near SJS's end. SJS thx her and leaves.

SJS returns home and sees HJW preparing dinner. SJS asks HJW if she told anyone she was there. HJW replies she called her brother and friend mi-ae because she left the pool shop door open.
HJW says she should go now but SJS asks her eat dinner w/ him and presents airplane tickets to bali w/ her name and his name on the ticket.

SJS: whether you go with me or not i'm going. and i'm not coming back. so you decide. i'll wait.

HJW goes back to her apt and mi-ae tells her PYJ's mom was there looking for her, and some men came to look for her too.
HJW asks if JIS came and mi-ae says of course. at night, HJW thinks about JIS's words telling her to wait for him cuz he'll throw everythng away for her.

SJS takes his mom out to a fancy meal. mom asks SJS how things are going w/ HJW. SJS tells his mom he's gonna be happy w/ HJW.
then SJS gives his mom a bank account book w lots of money in for her.

SJS packs his stuff and gets ready for the airport. just as he's leaving, HJW arrives and asks if it's too late. SJS gives her a big hug and they leave for the airport.
PYJ goes back home to pack some of her belongings. JIS is there watching tv and asks PYJ if she's leaving for good. PYJ ignores him and leaves w/ her stuff.

SJS and HJW are about to board the flight and HJW turns around to look if JIS came to look for her.
on the flight, SJS puts his hand on HJW's hand and thanks her for coming.

meanwhile, JIS waits for HJW outside her door and finally leaves after not seeing her.
JIS's brother tries to log on to his bank account at work and gets access denied so he calls the bank and finds out SJS took all the money.
JIS finds SJS's resignation letter on his desk, then sees his brother getting rushed to the hospital after fainting.

JIS's assistant explains to JIS what happened, and JIS remembers what HJW told him about her fate w/ SJS and about HJW's dream being in bali again.
JIS goes to the airport and waits for the next flight to bali. he thinks about what HJW said to him before they made love.
a completely distraught and fatiqued JIS arrives in bali. JIS watches as SJS and HJW play by the pool side of a luxurious hotel.
JIS gives a bundle of money to a local man who gives him something in return.

SJS and HJW talk in bed (implication is they made love) and HJW asks SJS what he's thinking.
SJS replies he and HJW must be destined. HJW asks SJS if he really doesn't plan to return to korea.

SJS: i have no plans to return there. are you happy?
HJW: i feel uneasy. i feel like i'm at a place that has no relation to me. i thought this would be paradise...
SJS: maybe you still have lingering feelings.
HJW: there is no such thing.
SJS: when i look at you i see sadness.. i saw sadness at the airport too.. and i was trying to figure out why.. then i realized it's because you left your heart (in korea).
HJW: (cries) i really didn't want to give him my heart too.. i wanted to protect my heart w/ my last pride. i'm sorry... i'm really sorry.
SJS: (cries) if you need to go back then go back. i will be here when you return.
HJW: --- (weeps in SJS's arms)

HJW then turns to see JIS standing there with a pistol. JIS shoots SJS, then shoots HJW. HJW w/ blood on her neck stares at JIS.
JIS, realizing what he just did, runs toward HJW.

HJW: (gasping) i love you. (then stops breathing)

JIS bursts into tear. at night JIS walks on the beach and points the pistol at his own head and shoots.
